My Holiday

Hello! In our first school in this year, I would like to tell you about my holiday. I think that all of us have a nice holiday and we can share our experiences from the last holiday so that we can get the knowledge from our holiday.
Let's start the story! Last holiday was the first holiday for me since I was in senior high school. I and my friends went to the one of the tourist destination in South of Bandung. It is Rengganis Crater. It was located in Ciwidey, South of Bandung. It's about three hours from the center of Bandung City. We went to this place by car in seven am. We had to walk from the parking place to the crater. It's about thirty minutes from the parking place. Before we entered the crater zone, one of the officer in this place gave us the mask for reducing the smell of sulfur gasses in the crater.
There are some place like gazebo for us to take a rest. After that, we had an idea to explore the location first. In there, we found the spot with hot water and the others with warm and cold water. We also found the spot that we could use the mud from the crater for the skin health. There were many people in the warm water spot to feel the experience when their bodies touch the water. They enjoyed it.
We went to a gazebo for taking a rest. We also ate our food here. After that, we initiated to take some photos from the crater. You can see the photos in the last of this post. My friends wanted to swim in the warm water. While my friends swim, I only took the photos of them because I did'nt bring the pants for swimming. In eleven am, we went back to the parking place. Before we left Ciwidey, we took a photo with the tea trees as the backround. What an interesting experience!

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born at Ulm, in Württemberg, Germany, on March 14, 1879. His father, Hermann Einstein was an engineer. Six weeks later the family moved to Munich, where he later on began his schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium. Later, they moved to Italy and Albert continued his education at Aarau, Switzerland and in 1896 he entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics. In 1901, the year he gained his diploma, he acquired Swiss citizenship and, as he was unable to find a teaching post, he accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office. In his leisure time he could publish several of scientific works. The one of them is the most famous formula in the world "E=mc2".
In 1903 he married his college mate Mileva Maric. One year later Einstein’s first son, Hans Albert, was born and his second son Eduard followed in 1910. In 1909 he became professor for theoretical physics at the University of Zurich. After that time he was given a professorship in Prague and then again in Zurich. In 1914 Einstein was called to Berlin to work there scientifically. In the same year World War I broke out. Einstein married Elsa Löwenthal in 1919, after having had a personal relationship with her since 1912. She was a first cousin maternally and a second cousin paternally.
Einstein received numerous awards and honors and in 1922 he was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect." None of the nominations in 1921 met the criteria set by Alfred Nobel, so the 1921 prize was carried forward and awarded to Einstein in 1922.
In 1933, Einstein and Elsa emigrated to the United States. In 1935, Elsa Einstein was diagnosed with heart and kidney problems; she died in December 1936.
Einstein published more than 300 scientific papers along with over 150 non-scientific works. On 5 December 2014, universities and archives announced the release of Einstein's papers, comprising more than 30,000 unique documents. Einstein's intellectual achievements and originality have made the word "Einstein" synonymous with "genius".
Einstein spent the last years of his life reclusively in Princeton. Until his last breath he worked on a new theory, the unified field theory, which however was not successful. Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955. He was 76 years old.

My Unforgetable Moment

Hello! In this opportunity I would like to tell you about my unforgetable moment. We know that every human have unforgetable moment and so I am. I'm a human too.

When I was in five grade at elementary school, I won the National Science Olimpiade in province competition. This story started when my teacher told that there is a competition named National Science Olimpiade (also known as Olimpiade Sains Nasional "OSN"). There were two delegations from my class, they are Nafissa for mathematics, and me for science. After that, I prepared for the school selection. Two weeks later, I came to my school to do the selection. I had to be the number one from the other. In fact, I really loved science so that I have to won this selection. Alhamdulillah, I won the competition and could continue my struggle in area competition.

I had to do my best if I wanted to be the winner in area selection. I have a good teacher for studying science. It was my five grade teacher. I studied with her for a month. The day was come. I prepared all of materials, my stationery, and of course my self. I went to One Soreang Elementary School with my teacher. I have only two hours for doing the test. I have to beat all of the competitors from all delegations from their elementary school in Soreang area. Alhamdulillah, after the test the official announced that I won that competition and could continue to the next step in competition.

I felt sad too because my friend from the same school couldn't continue in the competition. From this time, I studied more than before. I had to manage my time for studying materials, studying material in school, and playing. Same as before, I studied science with my school teacher. After two months, I went to Cicalengka to do the next step. I could meet with many diligent students from Bandung there. One of them in the future will be my best friends in my junior high school because we were in the same class. He is Novalisar. After the opening ceremony, all of the students had to go to their classroom with the suitable number with them. I prayed before the test begin. I hope I can do this test and continue to the province competition. I have some problem to solve the problems because in this test there was also essay to answer. I didn't think that I could win this. In the last, the official announced that I won this competition. I felt very happy.

After that, I studied science again but now I studied with the teacher from my city goverment. I went to laboratory with him to prepared the materials for the province competition. In fact, my elementary school didn't have a laboratory. After three weeks prepaired, I went to Lembang with the other delegations from the same city. We stayed there for four days. In there, we got some material to prepared the test. We stayed at Grand Hotel Lembang and have the test in Pesona Bambu Hotel. The time was come, I had to win this province competition to continue to the national competition. But, after I finished the test. I didn't think that I could continue to the national competition because the test was very hard. We have to solved the problems with  high order thinking. After that we went back to our city. And my prediction was right. I didn't win the province competition. I had to throw my hope to go to national competition.

Life keeps on turning, I felt happy too because I could have many friends from that. I also have an interesting experienced. And you know that "Experienced is the best teacher". That is my unforgetable moment. Hope you enjoyed it. See ya!
